Social Media for Your Business

A Career Conversation in New York City
Monday, March 12, 2012 from 5:30 to 7:30pm

A free workshop with a panel of experts for dancers, teachers and choreographers

Take control of your future and begin exploring and planning your next steps. The workshop is open to pre-professional, current, and former professional dancers of all genres. Social media tools can have a huge impact on your business's the bottom line. Join our social media expert, Maryam Day, in this workshop to catch up on the innovations that will help promote your new business and ideas. Although this event is free, space is limited. Dancers do not have to be Career Transition For Dancers’ dancer-client to attend.

Maryam Myika Day is a veteran in the advertising world, most recently serving as an Integrated Producer at Saatchi & Saatchi LA where she launched the US advertising and social initiatives for Toyota Motor Sales.  Maryam has also worked on brands such as BMW, Monster, HP, Sony, and Lenovo, to name a few. In 2011 she stepped out on her own and opened her boutique social media engagement agency, Social Savv(v)y, which is dedicated to bringing the social media market to emerging brands, independent artists, and social media enthusiasts.  Maryam has worked in all facets of production within television, film, radio, and theater, and is also a former dancer who performed in the 2001 Broadway revival of 42nd Street.

Free of charge, but space is limited.
